The Republican Party of Texas (RPT) will hold their bi-annual State Convention this week, Thursday June 16 through Saturday, June 18, at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

This convention is reportedly the largest (attendance) political convention in the country, including the national conventions.

Activity begins as early as Monday, June 13, with Rules, Platform, and Legislative Priorities committees meeting over the 3 days (Monday through Wednesday), hearing testimony, and drafting their temporary reports for presentation to convention delegates beginning Thursday.
