Texas Primary 2022
Early Voting - February 14 - February 25, 2022
Election Day - Tuesday, March 1, 2022
Every 20 Years!
Every 20 years redistricting and the gubenatorial election cycles coincide in Texas.
2022 is the first time since 2002 that Texans will go to the polls to elect all statewide offices (Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, etc.), the State Board of Education, and all 181 State Legislators (31 State Senators, 150 State Representatives).
Plus, the Republican Primary ballot includes 10 non-binding propositions (a survey of Republican voters on a variety of policies and principles).
In short, every Texan is guaranteed to have a full ballot for both the Primary and General Elections.
Grassroots Gold is blessed to present various endorsement and analysis information here on one site.
Pray for Our Future Leaders!
What a privilege to pray for ALL of the candidates before they are elected. We’ve included a daily prayer calendar, with every candidate for all of the statewide and legislative offices on the ballot. They are spread out through the month.
Need some encouragement, or a reminder to pray? We recommend you sign up with Christians Engaged – they’ll send you a gentle reminder text every Monday, and a few emails each month with suggestions, encouragements, and actions you can take.

Voter Guides, Endorsements and Analysis
Please use the Voter Guides, Endorsements and Analysis provided by these various liberty groups to inform yourself before you enter the voting booth.
A couple of points to remember:
- You can bring printed materials with you into the voting booth
- You cannot use your mobile device/phone to research or reference in the voting booth.
So, please either print out the information you need, or visit your county election site for a sample ballot, print that and fill it out before you come to your polling location. Our county resource page includes Ballotpedia links for every county in Texas.
